Heather represented us in the extremely complex purchase of a historic home in northeast NC. The house was an estate sale with multiple seller parties and significant legal entanglements. In addition, the house had major structural issues a that made it impossible to purchase under a conventional FHA, VA, or even private mortgage loan, such that we had to pursue the super complicated FHA 203K Home Renovation loan. It took nearly 9 months to achieve a fully ratified contract, then another 4 months of renovation plan development and intensive post-inspection negotiations to close. Heather literally spent hundreds of hours working the multi-phased negotiation, opening the house for inspectors, appraisers, and contractors, and updating our contracts and other paperwork as our closing date slipped again and again (not her fault). We cannot overstate how lucky we are to have met Heather; it's hard to imagine any realtor being more thorough, more dedicated, more responsive, and more effective than she was in helping us buy our dream home. Heather Whistler deserves the highest marks in every category I can think of. When my wife and I first starting looking at homes Heather showed us a few and we decided it just wasn’t the right time for us to purchase.
